Prison H15 is a prison in the north of France that has been abandoned for a couple of years. The place has a rich history that goes back to the beginning of the 10th century. Stories tell the side was originally a monastery that turned into a prison around the 1820’s.
Eventually the whole site was able to keep in around 1500 prisoners, male and female. After a change in penitentiary systems in France the place has been left behind and is starting to decay quite fast. One of the reason is probably the unwanted visitors who can’t enjoy the place without some demolishing.
